Formation
The Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade in the Ramseyer Presby Congregation in 1962 by Mr. Yaw Kroanteng Oppong and a few dedicated youth who had invented in the conduct of such a group. The first enrolment service which had 9 office and 105 brigades was held on 24th June, 1962. The Ramseyer Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade was then Christened as the 4th and 2nd Kumasi company of the Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade. This has remained the name of the Brigade to this present day.
Activities
The Brigade like any other group in the church is involved in evangelism. Through their efforts, a singing group in the church which was later to metamorphosed into the present day choral singers was established.
Occasionally, the Brigade organizes educational trips, career training and retreats as well as bible studies to build the spiritual growth of its members.
Membership
Presently, the brigade has 50boys and 60 girls with Mr. Edmond Osei Gyamfi and Mrs. CynthiaBoye-Mensah as the Boy’s and Girl’s captains respectively and Rev. Daniel Brobbey as the chaplain.
Meeting Days
The Brigade meets every Friday at 5:00pm.
